Mr. Burlingham's ability to work
in a variety of different media may well be hereditary -- for his great great grandfather
was Charles Tiffany, the founder of Tiffany and Company, and his great grandfather was
Louis Comfort Tiffany. Like Louis Tiffany, Mr. Burlingham creates designs that are
boldly original and beautifully crafted in prestigious materials. From his family,
Mr. Burlingham learned about the primacy of artistic beauty in utilitarian objects.
